Who is Virat Kholi?

Virat Kholi is the current Indian cricket captain who was born on 15th September 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is currently playing his first Test match for India since he took over the captaincy from MS Dhoni. He is considered as one of the best batsmen in the world right now. His batting style is aggressive and he is known for his power hitting. He is a right handed batsman and is regarded as one of the greatest opening batsmen ever. He has scored many centuries in international cricket including two double hundreds. He is also known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to score runs in any situation. He is a prolific run scorer and has scored more than 8000 runs in Tests and more than 10,000 runs in ODIs. He has won the ICC ODI Player of the Year Award twice.

Virat Kohli is an Indian cricketer who currently plays as the captain of the Indian cricket team. He was born on 25th August 1985 in Delhi, India. His father’s name is Yashpal Singh Kohli and mother’s name is Anju Singh. He married Anushka Sharma in April 2014. Virat Kohli started playing cricket at the age of five years old. When he was 12 years old, he was spotted while playing cricket by former India cricketer Ajit Wadekar. In 2000, he represented his school, St. Columba’s School, New Delhi and scored 814 runs in just four innings. After that, he went to play under the mentorship of Sandeep Patil. In 2002, he was selected to represent India Under-19 cricket team.

He is also the third highest run getter in Test cricket behind Ricky Ponting and Don Bradman. He is also the fourth highest run getter in Twenty20 International cricket. He is the only cricketer in the world to have played in four World Cups, three Champions Trophies, two World T20s and two Asia Cup tournaments. He is also the youngest player to play in the IPL. He is also the first cricketer to score a century in each innings of a Test series. He is also the fastest player to reach 300 international test runs.

He is also the fifth fastest player to reach 3000 international runs. He is also one of the few players to score a triple hundred in both innings of a Test match. He is also the sixth fastest player to reach 4000 international runs. He is the seventh fastest player to reach 5000 international runs. He is one of the most successful captains in the history of Indian cricket. He led India to their maiden ICC Cricket World Cup victory in 2019. He is also the joint leading wicket taker in the history of the ICC Cricket World Cup with 18 scalps.
