Sam Seder Biography, Celebrity Facts and Awards

Profile

Sam Seder Born on November 28, 1966, Samuel Lincoln “Sam” Seder is a comedian, author, actor, film director, television producer-director, and talk show host. Seder was reared in Worcester, Massachusetts after being born into a Jewish household in New York City, New York.

He produced the movies Who’s the Caboose (1997) and Beat Cops (2001) and the television programmes Pilot Season (2004). Along with that, he was in Next Stop Wonderland (1998). Additionally, Seder made cameo cameos on America Undercover (2000), and Spin City (1997). (2005).

Career

Sam Seder and Janeane Garofalo started co-hosting The Majority Report on Air America Radio in March 2004. Garofalo left the programme in July 2006 and had good things to say about working with Seder. Later, Seder received a new contract offer from Air America Radio, and his programme changed its name to The Sam Seder Show and shifted from its original 7–10 PM (Eastern) time slot.

Sam Seder was temporarily held by the US Secret Service on September 1, 2004, as he was covering the Republican National Convention live and in-person at Madison Square Garden. Seder started looking for a willing homosexual Republican to interview live on radio on the convention floor shortly after Zell Miller finished his speech (with a sign in hand). Soon after being physically removed from the stage, he was asked to leave the conference (or, in the words of some, “strongly encouraged”). Seder later remarked that the lapel pin he had received from a Secret Service agent earlier that year at the Democratic National Convention had prevented him from being entirely expelled from the convention.

Personal Life

Garofalo revealed that Sam Seder and his wife Nikki were expecting a daughter during the show’s concluding moments on March 9, 2005. Seder’s comments was slightly influenced and coloured by this life incident. Seder has expressed concerns on more than one occasion about how he will explain aspects of this world to his daughter as she gets older after seeing Republican Party acts that he feared might have a negative impact on her future. Myla Rae Seder, Nikki Seder’s daughter, was born on August 9, 2005.

The Sam Seder Show’s stint at the 9 AM–Noon time slot would cease on Friday, April 13, 2007, according to a statement made by Air America Radio on April 6. However, Seder would continue to host a show on Sundays called Seder on Sunday. Lionel, who held a late night radio show on the WOR Radio network, filled the 9 AM to Noon time period. As part of his strategy to turn Air America into a successful market leader in progressive talk radio, Air America President Mark Green dubbed this change “Air America 2.0.” Sunday’s final Seder was broadcast on June 1st, 2008.

Biography

One of the first representatives of Air America to officially disclose Rhodes’ decision to end her contract with the network was Seder.

Sam Seder launched the Majority Report, an independent online podcast, in November 2010. With political commentary from Seder and conversations with diverse guests, the structure is very similar to the earlier Air America programme. Seder intends to sell DVDs of the 2004 television series Pilot Season, which was created and directed by Seder, starred Sarah Silverman, and was first broadcast on the now-defunct Trio cable network. Premium subscriptions to the podcasts will also be available, giving listeners access to expanded commentary not included in the basic podcast. On the Majority Report, Seder has become somewhat well-known for regularly responding to posts from a conservative with a mild form of mental retardation who goes by the screen name “Primer.”

Late in 2010, Sam Seder started filling in for Keith Olbermann on occasion when he was away for Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Seder joined Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in co-hosting the widely syndicated progressive radio interview programme Ring of Fire in December 2010.
